Back To The East Coast...

This past week has been a whirlwind. I was lucky enough to be able to come home for a week; enjoy California weather and a great night of comedy. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life. It was great to catch up with so many friends who I haven’t seen in the past several months, and put faces with names of people who written me. Seeing everyone there was magical, I was floored at how packed the Comedy & Magic Club was. Thank you all for taking the time support me, I am so very blessed to have each and every one of you in my life. I want to thank Mike Lacey for his warmth, generosity and willingness to help. Evan, thank you, you’re absolutely hilarious.
My Dad and I flew back to the East Coast on Thursday morning… We had a layover in Nebraska, and I’ve never been there before, so it was quite an experience. While we were there President Bush gave a speech at the Quest Center in Omaha about 3 miles away, we got to see the Presidential motorcade- pretty cool to say the least. We ate dinner at this place called “Famous Dave’s” … It was the most delicious barbeque ever; I am willing to go back to Nebraska for seconds.
I’ll be on the East Coast for about a month to a month and a half before I can come home for a short visit again. My Birthday is coming up-March 10th, so I’m hoping to be in California.
I have a full plate this week with doctor’s appointments, and on February 21st, I have a PET scan; this will conclusively tell doctors exactly how my body has responded to the MDX / CD-30 clinical trail.
Please join me in prayer for the results of this scan to be favorable.
Fighting 2 Win,
-Alese
