Back To Square One...

I'm on my way back to New York; we're actually flying over Aspen right now. I've been in California since Tuesday afternoon, my visit was supposed to be a little longer, but, when the results of my PET scan came back, my plans were cut short. The remainder of the week seemed to be filled with calls from and to Sloan Kettering to arrange times for the next battery of tests; which just breaks down to blood tests and barium. They have flavored barium now- which is even worse, because it’s already like a radioactive milkshake and then add banana’s on top of that… ‘nuf said.

On Monday, February 28th, I am going to meet with my doctors and choose a new clinical trial. Please pray for wisdom on my part and the doctor’s part that we will make the best possible choice.

On a brighter note... my birthday is coming up! I have a confession; I am still a nine year old kid at heart. I still to this day get all giddy about a month before the actual date, and it’s more like a birth month than a birth date. Which I take as a good thing, because it’s a sign that I’m still young, and I still look forward to getting a little older. I have plans on my birthday to wear a tiara, drink Martinelli’s and watch The Little Mermaid, lol. The day after however, I have plans to go see Maroon 5- my Parents got me tickets, and I cannot wait!
