Blessings…
Well it’s been a quite a week… I’m back on the East Coast and I met with my doctor yesterday. We talked about PDX treatments and the discomfort that I’ve been experiencing, along with other available options. He asked me to stick it out and give him three more weeks of continued treatment, which would put me at the end of this six week trial. I have a lot of respect for Dr. O’Conner and his medical team and I’m going to take his advice. At the end of the six weeks they’re going to do a PET Scan; If there’s a reduction in growth, I’ll continue with PDX, but if there’s any sign of growth, we will explore other options.
This really got me thinking… I feel so thankful and so blessed to be in the position that I am in. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to be seen and treated by world class doctors. I’m so blessed that I have a support team of people who take the time out of their day to pray for me, and a family who has taken care of me in a way that I cannot describe in words. Thank you.
So that’s where I’m at right now. My Aunt Anna is here with me and when I feel up to it, we sew! We made the cutest pajama pants ever! It’s been so much fun. I’m still under the weather, I have a touch of bronchitis and I received PDX treatment yesterday. Please keep praying that I feel better, and thank you for all your support.
