Happy New Year...

Santa came through! I got a digital camera, and I have been taking more pictures than the paparazzi.

My Christmas was really great. It was so much fun seeing most of my California friends, and being with my family- and Lola (my dog- LOVE her) My sister Shallyn is out here with me right now. I love being with her; she’s not only my sister- she’s my best friend. I really don’t know what I would do without her, I love you Shally. We flew in on Christmas night and arrived at 3am on the morning of the 26th- she’s here for New Years and maybe I can steal her for a little while longer.

I went into the city on Tuesday, and my platelets were still low! I haven’t had treatment in almost a month- they should be up by now. This has Dr O concerned; he thinks that I am afflicted by a thing called ITP. I’ll give you the readers digest version: it basically means that my platelets will not go up until we fix this problem- if I indeed have it. So the plan is to wait a week… I’ll go in for a blood test next week and if they still have not gone up, I will get a bone marrow test the week after to confirm weather or not ITP is the culprit. Also, I have a PET and a CT scan coming up very soon, so please pray for me.

I wish you all a very safe and happy new year- I’ll see you in 2006!
God Bless & Fight 2 Win,
-Alese
