Home Sweeeeet Home…

I’m back in California- I can’t emphasize enough how much I love California weather, especially when it’s 72 degrees here and in the 20’s in New Jersey.

My appointment at Dr O’s on the 16th went well. All my blood numbers were all normal and I’m not itching and I have a decent amount of energy. Better news, Dr. O’s concerns about ITP is no longer an issue. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me.

I asked Dr. O. how my body was responding to GND? He responded; “Your body has nothing to do with it, but the Hodgkin’s is responding very well to GND.” Well said! I’m getting a PET/CT scan on the 31st, and I’m looking forward to participating in some new clinical trials that are available this spring, there are several new drugs on the market that are showing promising results in the laboratory. I’m excited to see what is available, one option, we discussed was a pill that I would take once a week, that’s amazing. Think about that, in five or six years, this will be how certain cancers are treated!

My Dad and my brother Mark came out to the East Coast and visited for six days. Seeing the look on Mark’s face when he saw New York’s Times Square was priceless. He just looked overwhelmed and in awe. I’m so glad that he got to come out and see New York.

Life is good… I have no complaints. I’m with my family and my little doggy Lola, I didn’t realize how much I missed California until I actually arrived here. Please continue to pray for me. The support that I receive from you all is incredible and humbling. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fight 2 Win,

-Alese
