Things Have Been Quiet…
I’ve been laying low for the past three weeks. I haven’t been able to receive any treatment because of low platelet counts.
I’m still lucky enough to have Shallyn out here with me, (she goes back to the West Coast tomorrow) My friend Julia has been hanging out with us and we’ve all had a great time. Shallyn and I drove into NYC one day last week and even though it was 59 degrees outside, we drove through Time Square with the convertible top down! That was really fun.
My Dad arrives on the 12th. He’ll be here for about a week and will accompany me to my appointment with Dr. O. on the 16th. Hopefully, my platelets are up to acceptable levels, I’ll receive another round of GND, if not, they’re going to do a bone marrow test and check me for ITP. Please pray that my platelet count goes up.
