Happy Labor Day...

I’ve been lying low and taking it easy since I’ve returned home from New York two weeks ago. The coolest part of the whole trip was when my cousin Aaron and I went to Ellis Island and we looked up our Great Grandparents who immigrated from Italy. It was humbling to see what they went through so that not only they, but their children could have a better life.

I received GND last Wednesday, hopefully, I’ll have one more treatment next week and then I’ll have a few weeks off before heading by to the NYC for a scan. Thereafter, I will start SAHA and I’m really exited about this drug for manageability. I really want to start school again, I want to be a nurse and I'm in the process of filling out applications. I have a new found respect for high school students.

I’m also going to be giving this site a make over in the next few weeks, my webmaster for the last two years, Scott retired from managing internet sites, so I’ve hired a new Webmaster and we’re going to overhaul the entire site. It should be complete by late September or early October.

I continue to feel good… I’ve been taking Lola on walks, which by itself is amazing, because normally my dog refuses to take part in anything that requires her to do some kind of work unless it benefits her. She is such a little diva, but it’s been good for both of us and my stamina continues to improve.

Fight 2 Win,

-Alese
